X/Net Associates To Receive Patents On Innovative Software Technologies

Fairport, New York -- April 22, 2003 - X/Net Associates, Inc. today announced that it has received notices of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that four of its patent applications relating to innovative software technologies will issue as U.S. patents.

Recently recognized as one of the top lending system vendors in the United States, by Celent Communications, LLC, X/Net Associates is a leading software product and system integration firm serving the financial services market.

One of the patents to be issued broadly deals with first-in, first-out (FIFO) queuing and routing technologies that optimize workflow. The other three patents to be issued deal with various technical aspects of high-performance software and autonomic computing principles, including activity-based GUI presentation methods, in-stream data compression, and automated notification and resolution of integrated vendors' software errors. Being broadly defined, these allowances can be applied in many markets outside of financial services.
